The Beds & Bars team want to say a HUGE thank you to every single individual involved in our fantastic Live Your Life Day. We say farewell to another successful day that saw an overwhelming amount of awareness raised for blood cancer and how we can work together to combat this life threatening disease. We say ‘until next time’ because with your ongoing support, we stand an incredible chance of saving lives all over and changing many more forever with our annual celebrations.
Whether you took part in the hilarious scavenger hunt or simply turned up for a beer at one of our many sites across Europe and the UK, your participation has helped us to continue spreading the word. For that, we are eternally grateful.
The 29th July was an action-packed one with the London Scavenger Hunt unveiling a load more fun in the form of set tasks for team members to complete such as stranger hugging, human pyramid building, The Beatles impersonating, goodwill gesturing and general buffoonery known only to our Beds & Bars community.
Both CEO of Beds & Bars, Keith Knowles and Founder of Team Margot, Yaser Martini delivered a few poignant words to express the importance of signing up to DKMS and registering as a potential blood stem cell donor. Helping to raise more awareness and understanding of the disease than ever before, the LYLD has, since it’s success on the 29th July, seen a noticeable spike in visits to both websites and a huge increase in sign ups thanks to every single one of you that participated.
